MEET MIA

Hi! I’m Mia the founder and creator of The Artists Co.!  With over 10 years of experience in the wedding industry I’ve come across working with some wonderful women and have hand picked our artists knowing that they are not only the best at what they do but that they each also have the personality and calm demeanor that is needed on what can oftentimes be a hectic day. We train quarterly to ensure we are on top of our game and are always pursuing higher education from artists around the world to make sure we never stop learning and continue to grow in our craft. If you’ve seen my kit you’ll know I am a makeup shopaholic and am always trying and testing new product to see what does and doesn’t work in our humid weather. I carry only the best for my brides!

MEET FRAN

Fran started working with Mia in 2018 as an assistant and has worked her way up to be a very talented stylist. She enjoys sharing her beauty stoke with other women and empowering them to feel their best self! With a focus on clean beauty, she is always looking for ways to keep her clients current, natural and fun! She likes to incorporate environmentally conscious practices and green beauty wherever she can. When she’s not beautifying brides for The Artists Co., she’s working as an amazing lash extension technician!

MEET MISTI

Attracted to the ability to translate her perception of beauty she sees in each individual, Misti aspired to be a hair and makeup artist from a young age. She received her cosmetology license in 2009 from Paul Mitchell Honolulu then went on to work at MAC Cosmetics in Las Vegas where her love and knowledge for makeup artistry expanded. She started working with Mia in 2018 and has since grown in her artistry to become one of our lead stylists. She specializes in photoshoot, film & bridal hair, and makeup.  Her work has been found in esteemed magazines such as Porter Magazine and has gone to work with global brands such as Tori Richard & Americas Next Top Model.

MEET DANELLE

Danelle has been drawing beauty inspiration from the lush island of Kauai since she was a young girl.  She has been lucky to grow up between Kauai and Seattle.  She went on to learn and attend cosmetology school at The Aveda Institute in 2007 in Seattle.  She has been mentioned in Allure Magazine for "Best Blow Out" and has been mentored by some of the best in the beauty industry. Enhancing natural beauty and making women feel beautiful from the inside out is her passion. When she's not working you can find her at the beach or working in her garden.

MEET STEPHANIE

Stephanie was born and raised on Kauai and has worked with Mia since 2010. Since then, Mia has watched her grow exceedingly in her craft. She specializes in glam makeup and hair and has become one of Kauai’s most sought-after stylists! Her love and passion for her work has led her to work with numerous brides and models. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her son Deidrien.

MEET ALISON

Alison has been a hairstylist since 2006.  She spent the first 13 years of her career as an Aveda trained hair colorist and cutting specialist as well as a wedding stylist.  For the past four years, she has honed her skills as a makeup and wedding artist.  Her attention to detail and making the client comfortable is what her clients love about her.  Known for her contagious laugh and great attitude, Alison is grateful to attract and service a wide range of amazing guests.

MEET CHELSY

Chelsy is the first person you'll meet in your TACO bridal beauty journey!  She handles all of The Artists Co. inquiries and will accommodate you with booking your date with us.  She was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and loves to spend time with her 2 boys adventuring outdoors.  She loves helping people in any way that she can and can't wait to meet you!
